The Long Count Calendar of the Ancient Mayans ends on Dec 21 2012. There isn'

t much information regarding what the Mayans thought the end of the word will

occur in 2012.  Now hopefully we'll all be safe and sound on Dec 22nd 2012 but

the possibility looms we may be in for disaster from a variety of sources.

My purpose in writing this article is to make you aware of a few simple

things that you can do now that might prove to be invaluable when the big day

comes.  Now you can't provide for every possibility but you can put some

supplies aside now that (if disaster strikes) could mean the difference

between life and death.  

Survival experts reccomend items like Survival Supplies for Emergency

Preparedness including Disaster Survival Supplies, Products and Kits, 72 hour

survival kits, medical supplies, antibiotics, camping geat, water barrels, sleeping bags, first

aid kits, Emergency Food and Water - freeze dried foods and other items.

The cost of these items can add up so since you have some time it is best to

buy a few supplies each month to keep costs down.

Don't wait until the last minute if disaster does strike there will (no doubt) be a run on

supplies and they will quickly disapear so the time to act is now.  Take the steps you need to

protect you and your family now.  I am currently making my own preparations so as I run

across other reliable supply sources, I will add them.
